The intercom is never used so there should be plenty of power for the ring.

My setup is a ring pro powered directly by a 24v 40va transformer that is also wired into a house intercom.
If you ever need to remove your doorbell wires from the pro power kit press down on the lever on the rear to open the terminal clamps and pull the wires straight out.
Turn the power back on at the breaker.

I m in a similar situation as you i m installing a ring doorbell pro and have a transformer installed but presumably need to add the pro power kit in series to help provide sufficient power to the ring it s powered now but not presenting a wap during setup.

Ring pro works fine for a couple of events and then stops working if this is happening and you suspect that you re having a power issue follow these instructions.
